9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Reverb Listening, its affiliates, or its partners be liable (directly or indirectly) for any losses or damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential, and/or incidental, arising out of or relating to the use of our services, including, without limitation, emotional distress, and/or any other damages resulting from communications or interactions with our empathetic listeners.

Members acknowledge and agree that Reverb Listening does not provide therapy, mental health services, or medical services. Our service is centered around empathetic listening and does not constitute professional mental health treatment or medical advice.

In no event shall Reverb Listening, its officers, directors, employees, or agents, be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages whatsoever resulting from any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content, (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to and use of our services, (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any personal or financial information stored therein, (iv) any interruption or cessation of service, (v) any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through our services by any third party, and/or (vi) any errors or omissions in any content. This limitation of liability applies whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not Reverb Listening is advised of the possibility of such damages.

Users specifically acknowledge that Reverb Listening shall not be liable for content or the conduct of any third party using our services. The risk of harm or damage from the foregoing rests entirely with the user. Please note that our service is not intended to replace professional mental health treatment, and users should seek such services when needed.

Because some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages, the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you entirely. In such cases, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law, minimizing our liability to you as allowed by applicable law. Reverb Listening operates from facilities in the United States and Canada and makes no representations that our services are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Users accessing our services from other jurisdictions do so at their own discretion and are responsible for compliance with local laws and regulations.
